Botanical Name: Lavendula angustifolia.
I find it helpful to sprinkle a few drops of lavender essential oil in my nappy bucket every so often, to help mask any odours.
You can use this lavender essential oil in a variety of ways. It can be added to the nappy bucket water
or used on a wet muslin to cover over a dry pail set of nappies, or can be added to your own wipes solution
or even just to soothe Mum in the bath!
Bear in mind that lavender essential oil is a strong relaxant and should not be used during pregnancy.
Lavender essential oil is both relaxing and stimulating, a powerful antiseptic and healer, and it calms, refreshes, invigorates and lifts the spirits. In aromatherapy it is excellent for tension, tiredness or depression, skin problems and aches or pains. Because it is so gentle, it may be applied undiluted to burnt skin or insect bites.
Ideal for use in wipes solutions.
