Folding prefold nappies
Prefolds are rectangles of several layers of fabric sewn
together. There are generally two inner seams creating
three long sections with the most layers of fabric in
the middle section. This should mean there is plenty
of extra absorbency in the centre.
1. The girl fold, or pad fold.
This fold gives all the absorbency in the middle
of the nappy where it is needed most.
2. The boy fold
The boy fold give maximum absorbency at the front
of the nappy.
3.The liquid poo fold
As boy fold, then fan out back to capture liquid poo.
Wings generally prevent it sliding into the wrap!
